Abstract
In questo lavoro esaminiamo la depressione e come riconoscerla, le sue cause, ed i trattamenti naturopatici più indicati.
Iniziamo con il primo capitolo, fornendo una definizione della depressione. Come riconoscerla attraverso i suoi segni comportamentali, iridologici, energetici, fisici. Quindi descriviamo il Beck Depression Inventory, che è un questionario di autovalutazione della depressione e esaminiamo le modalità per interpretarne i risultati.
Nel secondo capitolo, andiamo ad analizzare le cause, predisponenti e scatenanti della depressione. Esaminiamo le cause biologiche (teorie della psichiatria tradizionale), poi le cause sociali (isolamento, mancanza di supporto), successivamente è la volta delle cause psicologiche (modelli psicologici - cause scatenanti: separazioni, perdite, lutti - cause predisponenti : disfunzionalità cognitive, errati stili di attribuzione, problemi relazionali), dello stile di vita (carenze o eccessi nutrizionali, scarsità di esercizio fisico), del terreno biologico (teorie naturopatiche), infine esaminiamo le cause energetiche (medicina tradizionale cinese, bioenergetica) e le cause spirituali (mancanza di connessione col proprio Sé, di significato, senso di separazione)
Nel terzo capitolo affrontiamo il trattamento integrato della depressione, che consta di due momenti fondamentali: Eliminare o ridurre le cause predisponenti e scatenanti, Riequilibrare lo stile di vita e il terreno biologico. Poi andiamo ad approfondire i seguenti rimedi: i Fiori di Bach, la Fitoterapia, gli Omega-3, la Nutrizione (gli alimenti che fanno bene all’umore), l’Attività Fisica, l’Esposizione alla Luce.
Nelle conclusioni, lasciamo al lettore un piccolo messaggio di speranza accompagnato da una immagine che lo rappresenta.
