Approccio naturopatico al trattamento del carcinoma della vescica e alla gestione degli effetti collaterali della terapia convenzionale

Abstract
Negli ultimi 3 anni si sono rivolte a me numerose persone affette da malattia neoplastica, inizialmente per un aiuto nutrizionale che poi, grazie alla formazione offerta dalla scuola è diventato qualcosa di più efficace. La casistica che ho potuto così raccogliere è diventata piuttosto ampia soprattutto per quanto riguardava la gestione degli effetti collaterali della chemioterapia e i tempi di sopravvivenza liberi da malattia. Perciò inizialmente questo studio voleva essere molto più ampio, ma mi sono trovata davanti a difficoltà nella stesura del lavoro legate alla eterogeneità delle diverse patologie, al diverso stadio a cui arrivavano alla mia attenzione, alla personalizzazione dei trattamenti, alla irregolarità con cui alcuni soggetti seguivano i consigli e all’exitus di un paio di persone. Più di una volta, davanti ad un insuccesso, sono stata sul punto di non accettare la sfida per una perdita di fiducia nei confronti di questo tipo di approccio e di cambiare completamente l’argomento di questa tesi.
Alla fine, tuttavia, ho orientato questo studio ad una patologia unica, confortata dal fatto di poter seguire adeguatamente l’andamento della terapia anche se limitatamente a 2 soggetti. La raccolta dei dati ed il follow up è attualmente di 1 anno e mezzo e mi ha permesso di capire alcuni aspetti importanti, sia della malattia che dell’approccio alla persona che non può essere standardizzato, sia per motivi caratteriali che, purtroppo, economici. Mi sono anche resa conto che il supporto naturopatico permette di creare un rapporto di fiducia che va oltre il rapporto professionale.
Quello che ho imparato, dopo 18 anni di lavoro in strutture gestite dalla medicina ufficiale, è che l’approccio non convenzionale si preoccupa realmente della persona e non delle statistiche a cui questa può prendere parte, che ogni persona è diversa e va trattata come tale e non come un semplice “caso clinico” o “numero”.
