Mi è stata diagnosticata la sindrome dell’ovaio policistico all’età di 14 anni, da allora sono 15 anni che sono sotto terapia di estrogeni e progestinici. Al termine di questi tre anni di scuola di Naturopatia e con alle spalle una laurea in Infermieristica il mio obiettivo è la ricerca di cosa comporta realmente questa patologia, a cosa porta nel tempo e tutto ciò che può sostituire la terapia farmacologica con rimedi naturali, come si possono prevenire le complicanze.

Secondo la metamedicina le ovaie rappresentano la femminilità e la creatività, perché è grazie ad esse che la donna può dare la vita. La creatività può riguardare tanto la nascita di un figlio quanto quella di un progetto. La cisti ovarica risulta molto spesso dal dolore per la perdita o da una grande delusione proveniente dalla nostra creatività. Può trattarsi dell’aborto di un progetto, di un feto, oppure della morte di un figlio, o della difficoltà di procreare.

• Ho forse perso quella che ritenevo una pratica con me stessa?
• Sono forse disperata, perché non riesco a rimanere incinta?

La metamedicina non è una scienza, ma spesso serve come spunto emozionale, non voglio soffermarmi sull’argomento, ma l’ho menzionato perché nel mio caso posso dire che non mi delude mai con i significati che riesce a dare, alle spalle ho una formazione artistica, un diploma di Liceo artistico e i miei problemi sono appunto iniziati prima che iniziassi la scuola, i miei genitori all’epoca preferivano che intraprendessi studi commerciali.
